The Crystal Rose Energy Healing Attunement Course from Mayastar Academy Online

The Crystal Rose is an ethereal crystal but is unique in that it has a particular form, colour and distinctive properties with specific means and purposes of application.  The Crystal Rose itself is composed of subtle energy of a high vibration.  It resonates with the etheric component of the human heart centre and is concerned with the healing nature of love and compassion.

The Crystal Rose was channelled through the Avalonian Light Beings and it’s concerned with the heart chakra on a spiritual level, assisting with healing love of the self and others.  It’s a wonderfully nurturing feminine energy current and can be used on others too – it need only take a few minutes to work with it each day and it’s a wonderful way to end healing sessions with other modalities too!  There is one symbol included with the system for those who find visualising the crystal rose a bit of a challenge but other than that, the system is very simple to work with.  The 31 page manual is very detailed and has beautiful illustrations.

The course manual includes all of the information required to work with this system; to receive your attunement, teach others and so on.  In addition, you will find information on energy exchange, Quantum Physics, the power of the mind, metaphysics, prayer, vibrational medicine & philosophy, the energy body, complementary therapies, energy healing and how it all works!

Course includes:

  • Course manual by Rev. Anna May – 31 pages in pdf format by email

  • eBook: “The Book of Inspiration: Vibrational Medicine, Spirituality & Lightwork Companion Guides Compendium by Rev. Anna May. Mayastar Academy Online Energy Healing Courses: Pleiadian DNA Clearing & Activation Attunement Programme

The Pleiadian DNA Clearing & Activation Attunement Programme is a series of 7 attunements facilitated by the Pleiadian Light Beings of the Star Alcyone.  These activations work on an etheric level to awaken and develop the full 12 strand DNA system that is the inheritance of all humans.  This awakens additional spiritual healing capacities and talents within us which can assist us and enhance our lives in many ways.

This system clears any blockages and activates the dormant elements of your DNA coding in order to fulfil the potential of your spiritual energetic blueprint.

This is a powerful system and one that affects the energy vibration on all levels; increasing the basal vibrational rate of the individual.

This is one of the most popular courses for spiritual development and healing I teach. Particularly among students who feel drawn to the Star People or as I ncarnated starseeds or indigo children.

The seven energy attunements form the course are usually received on consecutive days.

  • 7 distant attunements

  • Course manual by the originator Rev. Anna May, 29 pages in pdf format by email

  • eBook: “The Book of Inspiration: Vibrational Medicine, Spirituality & Lightwork Companion Guides Compendium by Rev. Anna May. How Energy Healing & Reiki can be used to assist those who are terminally ill

image

We tend to think of healing as a single level but relaxation, the reduction of stress, assistance in sleep and pain management can be helpful in those to are about to make the transition.

It also provides a powerful way to connect – and creates a relaxed environment in which to talk about things the dying person might feel unable to with others or in more clinical settings. That’s not to say it won’t be challenging! But it can be an opportunity to share love as a family that is unique to our regular experiences.

My dad died of cancer last year. An inoperable brain tumour; and being able to provide him with the benefits of Reiki and my counselling/psychoanalysis experience…and natural forms of treatment, was intensely beneficial for us both. Being able to offer support and guidance in a situation that seems otherwise may seem bleak is an opportunity to reclaim the sacred aspects of this unique time. An opportunity beneficial (potentially) to all involved.

Natural Healing techniques can help relieve symptoms; we may benefit from healing on a spiritual and emotional level. Knowing you’re terminally ill can make people depressed – it’s rather a monumental time and rather monumental news. And it’s not unusual to experience shock and the stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining), when we hear the word “terminal”. But the shock part passes and we have to find a way to live with death. Something our life experience rarely prepares us for; it can make people feel unable to discuss the nitty gritty too – how death happens biologically. What to expect. What is a death rattle? Why do people who are dying usually go into a coma?

We can find these things out. And understanding the physical process can be reassuring. But creating an environment in which people feel they can connect and share in what is a very intimate experience…that’s the part no one teaches us! And I believe Reiki and sharing energy healing can be an excellent starting point for opening up and sharing our experiences and ideas together.

Death is a natural part of our lives – but we do tend to think of it as something that happens in a clinical setting with drips and medical staff…and ends with an anonymous phone call from a random doctor at 3am. We’ve stopped seeing it as being part of the cycle of life – and started to see aging and mortality as negative and to be avoided at all costs!

We are very distanced from our mortality in the modern world and this is emphasised in many ways by modern medicine…and probably also the fact many of us aren’t religious these days; also there is a way that even in some religions death is considered an inappropriate topic for discussion – or it’s discussed only in coded terms. The afterlife being focused on rather than death itself and the biological process of death.

Something important is lost in this I feel. Think back 100 or 150 years, people were used to seeing death first hand from an early age. Their family members usually died at home and often with the same treatments as end of life care provided now…counsellors instead of priests – but with morphine to control symptoms of the final days and hours.

If we saw this in our homes from a young age, we would undoubtedly understand death in a very different way. And while we consider such close encounters with the dying potentially depressing (tragic, unbelievable, despair inspiring) when they happen in the real world today, they don’t have to be. This modern perspective is rather new and our past understanding of the process can teach us a lot.

Death can be seen as part of a natural transition. The physical death of the body here marking its rebirth into the next world. A sacred experience when we see it from this perspective and allow ourselves to overcome our fears and resistance and to see…it may be messy or strange to us…so is the birth of babies! But we don’t have a problem seeing that as sacred. Death comes to all and yet we can go through most of our lives trying to remain “uninvolved”. I feel this is not only to our detriment but also to the detriment of those who are dying. And one day, that will apply to each of us.

Don’t be depressed…you will die one day; you will live on many others!

My dad received home hospice care during his transition and it opened my eyes in many ways to the very personal experience the dying person has. And how modern attitudes can be isolating and prevent a natural transition being experienced in a natural way by everyone involved.

There are some great books (especially those by Felicity Warner) about Soul Midwifery. And the Pagan Book of Living and Dying by Starhawk that offer some practical and philosophical ideas that can draw people together if things are experienced openly and this final journey considered something we take together and acknowledge for the sacred time it is.

I’m all for using Reiki as a complimentary therapy to assist in achieving a good/peaceful passing.

As I said, not all healing takes place on a physical level. The mental, spiritual and emotional benefits can be incredibly powerful for anyone involved – the person who is dying, the family and friends – Energy Healing can provide a way to share in the journey that can be powerfully healing for everyone.

Energy Healing & Reiki for Stress Management | Boosting Health | Immune System | Chakra Balance | Harmony

image

Usui Reiki is one of the most popular courses I teach through Mayastar Academy Online Natural Healing & Spiritual Development Courses. It was the first course I began teaching 12 years ago when Mayastar was established and because whenever energy healing is mentioned with regard to its effectiveness (assisting cancer patients or for pain relief), it remains the most “well known” of the systems I teach. It’s probably the one that’s most tested and some medical health practices will refer people for Reiki Healing despite it being considered a bit “new age”. Similar prejudices come up as a reaction against natural healing practices – Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Reflexology for example.

The big difference with Reiki is that it’s accessible and safe for anyone to learn and use. I wouldn’t recommend anyone start trying acupuncture without significant training and experience. But energy healing systems like Reiki provide a structured and specific practice that is not invasive and can be easily taught.

The founder of Usui Reiki included the structured forms of hand position sequences, meditation techniques, symbols and methods for sending healing distantly as well as on the breath. It is a versatile system but it’s structure makes it uniquely useful for beginners because it helps to build confidence in energy work as you go. So your intuition develops without your conscious mind being unoccupied and restrictive.

People learn energy healing for all kinds of reasons. Some wish to learn to provide healing to others; perhaps to pets or family members. Some are looking for ways to develop their spiritual senses and find Reiki an excellent way to do this.

But increasingly, I teach students that are looking at alternative or complimentary therapies to improve their health. Balance their energy to resolve health problems or assist with conventional treatments they are already using.

One of the most significant implications for ill health is stress. We are six times more likely to develop schizophrenia if we live in a city than if we don’t. Modern life has its benefits but it comes with increases in stress experienced by doing things that have never been natural for people to do.

Another example is the blue light from backlit screens on our computers, games, phones and televisions can interrupt our production of melatonin. The hormone that makes us feel sleepy and allows us to sleep. Yet, many have televisions and computers in their bedrooms and use them to “wind down”. Over time we don’t really know how much additional stress to the system could accumulate through this change in sleep quality. But the fact is if we don’t properly our bodies can’t repair properly.

If we have too little sleep on a regular basis there are implications for our health on many levels. Ultimately, if you get less than six hours of sleep in one go regularly, your life expency is reduced. Your risk of heart problems, cognitive problems and problems with immine immune function are increased.

These kinds of stress are often completely ignored. We know that a stressful job or relationship can make us ill. We know what stress feels like. We know that sometimes natural life events may cause us stress and when these happen we tend to try to take care of ourselves – death, changing career, moving home – and many other big changes we will all face at one time or another, will cause stress that we need effective ways to deal with.

Usui Reiki obviously isn’t the only answer. Meditation and breathing exercises are also very good. Changing eating habits to avoid stimulants or sugar can have big effect. Avoiding falling into the trap of relying on detrimental habits like drinking alcohol (which is considered by most people to be an “acceptable” way to deal with stress despite its negative effects on health), is important.

Change in life is stressful to some extent even in the most adaptable and well adjusted people. And change is constant. So the way we deal with experiences of stress needs to be something we make accessible to ourselves consciously and use regularly.

Daily exercise has been shown in clinical trials to be more effective in treating depression than many medications that are prescribed by medical professionals. That certainly doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take them! But it does mean we can make choices to help ourselves and that’s empowering.

Reiki is an excellent option for relaxation, self healing and boosting our immune function. It it useful in relieving stress and the symptoms of stress which can become chronic and debilitating.

My view is that a holistic approach is the best approach. Don’t rule out modern medicine. But do consider your diet and lifestyle. Look at the options you can take and weigh up the negative impact of some “acceptable” habits against the options that don’t come with a negative impact. What’s considered “normal” isn’t always what is natural or right.

It can be hard to break out of habits of thinking and behaviour we have been taught and which are reinforced by those around us. Sometimes being the odd one out means choosing what works for us as individuals despite our peers or negative views of individuality that are quite prevalent in some people’s lives.

If your friends think Reiki is kookie – the domain of hippies and vegans, don’t let it stop you trying it out. Lead by example. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Especially if trying something old isn’t working!

Bathtime Blogging | Aspergers | Social Media | Spiritual Development | Mineral Makeup | Reiki Healing | Meditation | Spells | Mayastar Specials

image

It’s me! #selfieoftheday showing Mineral Magic Mineral Powder (no concealer or anything…this is just the powder, appied with a kabuki brush over Creme de la Mer), eyebrows defined with wunderbrow & lush cosmetics strawberry bombshell tinted lipbalm. I am kind of testing the mineral magic. I don’t wear make up as a rule but when I do it is usually just powder, lipstain and a pair of sunglasses!

So I am wearing mineral magic when I sleep and over moisturiser, over serum, when exercising. Just doing as much as I can with it to see if it irritates around the eyes, dries the skin around my nose, causes spots etc. So far I absolutely love the stuff but am gonna continue my totally unscientific testing as I want to blog about it. I am sure I am not the only 42 year old woman who can’t be bothered with REAL makeup! So, along with my random blogs I think beauty tips and haircare is something that I consider enough to share with my followers.

image

By the way, I know many people who follow me are current, previous or potential students & clients of www.mayastar.net and www.mayamagickal.net – but I know some follow my artwork too. Or are into similar things (henna, magick, ballet, dance, hiphop, corsetry, preraphaelite art, poetry, tightlacing, meditation – I think some  probably find a bit of a kindred spirit because of my autism – I’m aspergers which is a kind of high functioning autism – or maybe just like my style!), but I really do appreciate it!

On my various social networks I have 29000 followers at the moment and it seems amazing – and flattering in a way too. I’m not a natural when it comes to putting myself out there but because my work is online (teaching distance learning courses for spiritual development & self realisation mostly), it’s important for me to be as accessible as possible while keeping a balance.

I think my students and clients find it reassuring…they are able to get a “feel” for me as a person and my principles…and also my interests. I think that can help connect in a more personal way than I would be able to do in real life. Not because I am antisocial but more because my autism means I relate and communicate far more effectively through writing than through speaking. In most ways I am a natural hermit…but that’s a bonus in the work I do. I also think people feel more able to open up to me in a constructive way when it means they have to consider their words and articulate their thoughts and feelings in a way that encourages selfawareness far more than speaking does.

This can be an essential part of tailoring magickal work for people. I don’t advertise my magickal work as so much comes from recommendations…which is a good thing!  I don’t ask people to review my magickal work because it’s v personal. I am a psychotherapist and qualified in counselling which I think also helps…but I wouldn’t advertise that either. So most online reviews are for my teaching work. There are quite a few on www.linkedin.annalouisemay.net and some of www.maya.mayastar.net (FB) too…and quite a few testimonials on the http://www.mayastar.net testimonials page. But for people interested in attunement work, I think the articles on MS – especially www.mayastar.net/courseswork.htm, help people to understand what I do and whether it’s a good fit for them. Likewise, the articles on Maya Magickal that explain what I do and my experience etc, are helpful to people considering whether my work may assist them in their personal goals.

Social media does seem a strange addition…my blogs are not exactly themed and pretty much cover my hobbies and thoughts. But I do think it’s an added dimension to online presence that’s helpful in a way that’s evolved with my work 🙂

Obviously if you work for yourself, regardless of how vocational you consider that work, advertising, marketing and letting people know you exist is important. An example is, if you wanted a new credit card you would put it in google and find the best fit for you. Whereas my services may sometimes be searched for but more often are found by people who didn’t know this kind of energy work was available – so people more often find me when looking for something similar rather than looking for me.

Gosh…that was a looong blog. I hope it makes some sense. In a nutshell, thank you to those who follow me! I really appreciate it. X

I better sign off…bubblebath blogging and the water is getting chilly…and my Teddy Boy is due for dinner and some Studio Ghibli entertainment soon.

Xxxx

Energy Healing | Reiki | Holistic Health

This blog is taken from a discussion with a student who has undiagnosed and intermittent stomach pain and has previously assumed this to be an “energy block” and based on that has not pursued any clinical diagnosis.

I always emphasise the importance of taking a holistic view of health and wouldn’t recommend anyone self diagnose with “an energy block” and to seek no further clarification from appropriate professionals.

I teach energy healing & meditation techniques as well as providing magickal solutions (based on karmic reweaving)…these are complementary and not alternatives to medicine, lifestyle choices, diet etc.

A holistic approach means taking on board all aspects of health and diagnosis.  Energy healing isn’t an alternative to medical. And for full health a body needs balance physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If you are eating badly, don’t take any exercise, have a stressful lifestyle or habits you know are compromising your health and wellbeing, it’s not reasonable to turn to learning energy healing and meditation as an alternative to resolving problems with practical solutions. No amount of chanting will remove a ruptured appendix…and no one would expect it to. So if you have health problems you really should see a health care professional.

If you wish to use my services magickally or in energy work to progress towards a harmonious state, that’s excellent and exactly what my work is for. But if you think magick can provide a quick fix or meditation can cure all ills while you continue to make choices you know are causing you harm (such as drinking, taking drugs, unhealthy eating or unhealthy habits of lifestyle such as letting your ego dictate your course in life and causing your conscience to blanch at your own behaviour and choices), magick, meditation and energy healing won’t fix it. If you don’t genuinely want to change you won’t change. And although meditation, ritual or energy work may assist you, may increase your self awareness and support you in making progress, they aren’t there to make you magickally transform into something else against your will!

If someone has health problems (physical, mental or emotional), I would not assume to make a diagnosis as I am not qualified to.  So if you’re ignoring something, find out what it is from someone qualified, before you decide for yourself what you think it is and how you think you should treat it!

The student hadn’t contacted me about health problems beforehand…and I don’t think they can have read the Mayastar Study Manuals that accompany the courses I teach otherwise they would have known that my response would be to reiterate what I teach. A genuinely holistic approach…not a bunch of new age fluff bunny nonsense. I think people that do (and I have had to re-teach Reiki to people who received no real guidance or study materials from “Masters” so many times now that I consider the fluff bunny nonsense approach to be both epidemic and dangerous) are causing untold harm and not embracing the holistic view at all.

If you feel the energy healing is exacerbating a condition I would advise not to use it until you have seen a medical professional that can ensure you are safe to do so.

Also, it is important to ensure you have grounded yourself with the grounding meditation before and after each session – and read the Study Manuals fully.

If you have pursued the advice of a medical professional and your digestive problems perisist without an apparent cause, look at other areas of your lifestyle. Maybe seeing a nutritionist would be indicated. If stress causes the problem maybe a different kind of energy work would be more suitable.

If you feel grounding or long term imbalance are a significant component in your work there are options like the Avalonian Trilogy Meditation that can help you balance out and would be suitable for reducing stress.

Also there are ritual options. The healing/grounding effect of the Killing Moon 30 Day Karmic Reversal Ritual can be helpful; it has a very healing and grounding effect and depending on the source of the imbalance may significantly improve it or eliminate it. The same goes for the Light Body Activation Initiation Intensive. These are detailed on the Maya Magickal website (links below).

But I really recommend against considering these options as alternatives or to self diagnose a problem without any professional advice. You could be causing harm to yourself by doing so.

So although any problem could be helped with energy healing or meditation, it could also be exacerbated with the wrong kind of energy or by using techniques incompletely (particularly neglecting to follow the instruction onn grounding!).

Stomach complaints that are ongoing should be seen by a physician. Diary products can exacerbate underlying conditions – or be the cause of them. A lack of exercise can cause problems with digestion. Food allergies or intolerance could be aggravated by stress. But at the same time, persistant problems may indicate a chronic condition that requires medical diagnosis and may be better helped with professional medical care. Your assumption that it is an energy block may be right but unless you see someone qualified to rule out potentially serious conditions such as diverticulitis, hernia or colitis, your self diagnosis could be dangerous.

When we work holistically we don’t assume all problems are due to energy blocks when it’s also possible for a medical, dietary or lifestyle condition to cause similar symptoms. And unchecked a medical condition can result in an energy block – but to treat that it would be advisable to take a holistic view and treat it on all levels. Which includes medical.

It may not be a serious condition or it may be one you can manage without medication too. IBS for example. In that case energy healing and meditation may be very helpful!

To end with an anecdotal point…over the years (decades) I have worked with attunement based energy healing and meditation systems, as my natural “basal vibrational frequency” has shifted, I have noticed I can’t tolerate caffeine very much. I can’t eat meat or sugar or drink alcohol because they have a very grounding effect on me. Something I became aware of as my natural sensitivity increased. I also gave up smoking 9 years ago. And recently gave up dairy as what I had thought was a bit of an intolerance began to cause histamine swelling in my hands (an allergy rather than an intolerance). People’s bodies change over time and often people naturally change their habits based on those changes…but if I hadn’t decided to go vegan I might have irritated my body with more dairy products and ended up with more serious problems.

Other anecdotal situations – my mother gave up sugar and her IBS went away (but her hernia required medication and surgery and changing her diet wouldn’t have fixed that! ). I used to get migraines and have hay fever as a child but somehow at some point grew out of them. Whereas my brother grew into getting migraines in his 30s having never had one before. So people’s bodies change and it’s sometimes something you have to learn to manage – my brother made significant lifestyle changes to reduce to risk of migraine.

Additionally, I have temporal lobe epilepsy and I make significant lifestyle based choices to manage it because after discussing with my neurologist he was happy for me to try a drug free route. But over time, my epilepsy may change and I will change with it. (It’s why in so many selfies I’m wearing sunglasses in fact – I am light sensitive and sometimes wear them before bed because I tend to have more as I start to relax otherwise). But I would rather keep sunglasses by my bed than take a chemical preventative medication that has long term side effects. However, it was important I saw my GP about and had scans and tests and got a proper diagnosis before discussing my options with someone who knows about TLE. Because the very same symptoms might have indicated a tumour or a stroke. So it’s very important I think that if you’ve self diagnosed a problem you have had for many years, you see a professional and make sure you’re making choices based on the facts.

I think many people on a spiritual journey find that as they raise their energy, their intolerance to low energy vibes (from food, people, music or habits) becomes highlighted and that’s part of the journey in a way. But that shouldn’t be used as a reason to boycott the facts or (in some cases), our own common sense!

So have a look at the options. Consider your symptoms. Think about your diet and lifestyle to see if they offer up any clues. And speak to a GP for advice. If energy healing doesn’t feel right, perhaps a structured meditation system might suit you better in managing stress for example. But please ensure you seek appropriate professionals…a holistic view means working with the whole x
