“It isn’t likely a spell would stop his actions – even if they are immoral it’s even worse karmically to use magick on another person without their permission. It would mean you were intending the same type of subterfuge or deception and karmically would be bad on you and wouldn’t necessarily work.
The best option magickally would be a reversal spell or the banishing/blessing Intensive which is made up of a series of 6 spells and could be tailored to your situation. Focused on turning YOUR situation around rather than his. It may mean he realises what he is doing and comes back. It may mean you both come to an understanding and can somehow move forward either living with it for a time or living separately but re establishing your friendship.
The thing with magick is it isn’t safe to use to try to make anyone else to anything else. Love spells and healing spells without consent are the same magickally as curses. Just as his actions if looked at from that philosophy are no different to someone using black magick!
But the sooner deception stops – regardless of the outcome – the sooner things will be sorted out. Not necessarily to your design or his but to the way they are best at the present time. At the moment you are clearly distressed and a lot of this is your sense of powerlessness and the fact you kind of know the situation you are in but can’t see a way out that won’t negatively affect you.
Magick can do much to break the impasse but you will need to prepare as much as you can for your future not panning out as you intended. It already isn’t. And I can promise it will get better – but I am sure there will be times it won’t feel that way.
Maintaining your perspective will be hard but it will be easier because you’re focusing on creating change rather than focusing on past experiences in an attempt to understand the present. This in itself can be emotionally and mentally exhausting.
Acknowledging that now has become so bad that there must be change is not easy but is important. A stagnant “now” is taking you nowhere and leaving you ill; and persisting in that situation does more harm than good. Change can be scary but sometimes it’s a lot scarier to imagine a situation in which nothing changes.
I am sure you half think – I wish he would just come out and say it so we could talk and formally separate so I could deal with my pain and think of my future. Or that he would just leave for the same reason. That’s normal in situations like this and that’s why people often go to counselling during or after a break up. Being able to talk about it is so important to being able to heal because it is very much like grief. Not just for the person but for the life you expected. Your security. The things you believed were real that weren’t.
That might be another way to prepare in fact. Ask your GP is you can be referred to a counsellor – begin talking about your situation in the real world.

I believe taking some kind of conscious of practical action to support the spells is important. Whether you start keeping a journal or learn an energy healing method to become active in rebalancing your own energy (like Reiki), that’s a very good idea in manifesting the most positive changes and moving forward from hindering factors of the past.
I know it’s not easy and motivating yourself even to seek my help is probably hard…taking steps to help you personally may seem very hard. But it’s important that your conscious mind begins to remember that you are a person of value regardless of what others do or say or how they behave. Or your situation. These negative thoughts about yourself are part of the problem as it currently stands and reminding yourself you are not defined by other people and your course is not determined by them can mean you emerge from the situation a stronger person than before – with more confidence and higher self esteem.
Magick always works to restore harmony no matter how long its been missing. Harmony and wholeness are your natural state.

The most requested spells and rituals I do for people are Reversal spells. By a long way this type of working (either as a preliminary preparation for other work or as a solution specific working), is what people need help with when they know that spiritually or psychically something is off…even if they’re not sure what it is.
Psychic attacks using black magick are extremely rare. But you need to consider what magick really is before understanding how it can help in other kinds of abuse where natural means don’t necessarily provide some levels of security.
Magick is defined as the art of causing change to occur in accordance with the will. So every act of will (conscious or unconscious) is an act of magick.
When we focus on an intention we begin to take actions and prepare ourselves for a desired situation or outcome to manifest and the Universe backs us up. When our higher will is engaged in seemingly mundane activities, we are reinforcing our intention with action and changes can occur more quickly because we are literally aligning ourselves with our goal.
This isn’t to do with good or evil…it’s more to do with aligning our actions and emotions with our thoughts and intentions. Magick is the way I do it but it does take training and commitment to learn. So I provide magickal services for others as part of my work. The opposite state would be a state of resistance, restriction and disparity. Anyone in that state would be a negative influence on others. Whether by their projected intentions (ego centred consciousness always looks outside for blame or cause), cruel actions, verbal abusive, emotional abuse or physical abuse.
With the outward projection of the ego centred person’s intentions, they are not just capable of psychic attack (abuse on a spiritual level), but they don’t have the self awareness nor the impulse control to prevent it.
This type of psychic attack is extremely common and often the victim questions the reality of it or tries to reason it away by thinking maybe if they were more professional, less sensitive, more confident…(etc)…they would feel differently. It can feel like an act of personal defeat to admit that we are being affected by someone spiritually. It means acknowledging a level of violation we haven’t acknowledged before. It can make a person feel powerless, paranoid and defeated. All of the things that can leave us more vulnerable to this kind of abuse.
Sometimes lifestyle or self esteem issues can mean we become attractive to people who are narcissistic. Times of change or emotional turmoil (a bereavement, change in job or house move), can leave us more vulnerable to the proffered “shoulder to cry on” and also mean we’re in a mental state where apparent encouragement and reassurances are taken “to heart” in ways we might not usually.
Narcissists often display extremely intense acts of apparent kindness, love or attention that a vulnerable person may be drawn to. It’s a phenomenon called “love bombing” and it’s actually a method of manipulation and control. It keeps the victim assured any misgivings they have are rooted in their own issues…not able to pinpoint exactly what feels “off”.
Once an element of control is established, the narcissistic personality requires validation and attention and conformity of the “victim”. The transition can be so subtle that unless you’re looking for it, you don’t notice it.
It’s perhaps worse when the narcissistic personality shows up in a scenario where acknowledging the problem is even more difficult – a work colleague, a client, a family member for example. Narcissists are always parasitic in nature and we may feel it on a spiritual level (intuitively), even while we believe that all is well on other levels.
A narcissist will tend to claim to have the best or worst of everything…childhood, health, luck etc. Their “story” will be compelling. They will usually describe themselves as a victim in some way. Their story may seem too good to be true or too bad to be true. But they lie as easily as they tell the truth and they’re generally pretty plausible. At first.
So the abuse begins right off the bat…manipulation is abuse. So whether they use lies or half truths to convince you of their story (often tailored to the victim by getting allowing you to talk enough about yourself they can tell you exactly what you want to hear). This is second nature to them. They learn to fake empathy by emulating others so they tend to get worse in the sense of being more manipulative or controlling over time. But better at doing it discreetly and fooling others.
Living a lie isn’t a consequence of their actions…for them it’s the method of getting what they need. They may project confidence and self assurance, but they are desparately needy. Craving external validation which they will pursue by any means necessary. It’s not a problem to them. They don’t have a conflicted need to balance their selfishness to assuage their conscience. They are very much stuck emotionally in the area of ego development – they may hide it well but inside it’s all turmoil, drama and obsession. And they feel entitled to have whatever they want. They are often intelligent and have a charming way about them, but scratch the surface and there is a sense of entitlement that trumps everyone else. They don’t have friends so much as pawns.
They are only interested in your interest in them…and how much of that they can acquire. Feeding their ego is like an addiction and they may be addicts for similar reasons. That’s not unusual but it is usually something you find out later.
One good way to assess whether someome is potentially a narcissist, is by repeating their story as they provide it so they are compelled to repeat it. Some may feel more confident because you’re showing an interest. Then deliberately misunderstand something with a statement “but you said you weren’t interested in….” – questionning them usually gives a glimpse of their true nature and anything they can perceive as criticism they will perceive as criticism. It’s likely they will expose a chink in their armour if you do this.
Other ways to do it is to pretend a third party would be critical of them rather than you. And see how they react. Criticism is never well received. At the very least they will seem “strangely” defensive or dismissive. If they think you are on their side and a third party isn’t you may get an insight into their attitude to people who might criticise them. Whether it’s their lifestyle, their past, the colour of their socks…the criticism test is revealing!
Another exposition method is easier later (the more involved you are with them, the more of a minefield their intolerance becomes) offering deliberate compliments and seeing how they react. They may go into an elaborate self effacement speech. They may take on a glow at the “win”.
In fact…look out for their tendency to offer speeches. It’s a tendency to prevent you interrupting. Which belies a tendency to decide what you can say and when.
If you’re dating one…this tendency is one of the weird things you may or may notice. If they think you are about to speak your own mind (rather than theirs), they may react with a kiss. One that ends the conversation. Even if you get the vibe something is up, it’s hard to admit to yourself that a kiss might have been an action of control – to literally shut you up. That seems crazy. Because they are crazy. And unfortunately, not in a way that will change or can be helped by therapy.
The safest way to not be stung by a narcissist is to never get involved. Unfortunately they are drawn to similar traits and some people end up feeling they’re magnets for this type. Literally watch your body language – they will be. If you naturally are a quiet person with a naturally shy or understated demeanour, they may assess at first sight that you’re possibly introverted, passive and insecure. An “easy mark”.
Not all narcissists present all the same red flags. But because their consciousness is so ego centred, they have similarities. And without fail are a negative and destructive influence with a potential for abusive behaviour that’s guaranteed.
There are so many variables in any situation. Any relationship or connection. And the Karmic bond formed with people we mix with, that magick can’t just erase the symptoms; it’s a case of removing the connection to prevent the problem recurring. In long term relationships this may take time because the narcissist will harbour hope they can change your mind and is unlikely to take no for an answer.
So, reversal spells work from the inside out; magick is a process of “reweaving” that makes it less likely the problem will return. A narcissist is waging their own personal psychic war because they project their intentions so fluently (like a kind of psychic incontinence similar). But the reweaving on a psychic level creates an environment that means they will tend to stop considering you a prospect. If it takes a few reversals, it’s because over a period of time their intention may undermine yours. But magick can be greatly empowering in protecting you and preventing their projected need. Which may be to keep you in their life as an enemy if they can’t keep you in it as a friend. It’s most important if using magick to resolve this kind of attack, you don’t allow them a foothold in your actions (no matter how they try to achieve that), because responding to them increases their influence on you and would restrict a successful disconnection to prevent continued harm or disharmony to manifest as part of their “campaign”.
So if you find yourself a victim, don’t become disheartened! Whatever practical steps you take can be supported with magick. It gives you a choice and empowers you to deal with the situation.
So you can see, the idea that someone’s doing black magick and attacking you is nonsensical! Trying to use magick in this way would be against the natural current; it would be like making water flow up hill!
But psychic attack is a common problem. It doesn’t involve someone performing black magick rituals or sticking pins in a voodoo doll or anything so elaborate. It can deliberate but also sometimes unconscious. And the more ego centred the perpetrator is, the more important it is to disconnect fully.
A Karmic Reversal spell is a safe and effective way of preventing the hindering influence of another or others from causing you any harm or restriction on an energetic level. It works from the subject out and simply put it dissolves any negative karmic bonds – reverses negative intentions, speeding up the karma if necessary for full resolution or simply dissolving negative connections if that’s more effective.
It’s really a way to bring harmony to your situation instead of deflecting or ignoring it. In many senses you can consider this kind of magick a healing process; healing by dissolving negativd energetic connections and allowing you to move forward.

A combination ritual for a client inspired me to blog about the potential for a Tantric Shamanic Ritual Intensive.
All situations are unique, but this particular intensive would be a useful fit for a variety of options. With TS rituals they can be easily tailored for a perfect fit for the client too.
The Loki TS ritual is relatively new to Maya Magickal, and makes a great start to this intensive by removing blocks on all levels – even helping the client to move past blocks that are rooted in their own limited beliefs or hindering effects of their behaviour.
A blocked situation can feel insurmountable. You may that sense of limbo where you feel bound up. Or feel like all options are beyond you because of internal or external restrictions…fear of success can generate massive scale inertia in some people and magick can provide a catalyst to move beyond it.
This is also useful if you need to uncover the source of (for example), harassment, aggravation, deception or some other external influence that is creating a state of stagnation or limbo. The sense of being in the dark and waiting for something to happen can be debilitating and depressing.
The Loki working, followed by the Heimdall working and finished with the Odin working (which can be tailored for your particular circumstance) can be worked to expose the truth (internally or externally) and then resolve the situation by invoking “Justice by Right”.
The final focus being on achieving a sense justification which puts you back in the driving seat of your life with a greater awareness and renewed confidence.
The Loki ritual was originally created for the purpose of unravelling a stagnant situation.
Chaos is sometimes considered a negative state – but Chaos is a state where change is possible – inevitable in fact; stagnation is a negative state; it blocks change and it can persist and affect many areas of your life as your consciousness conforms more and more to the restrictive view.
So invoking an element of Chaos opens possibilities! It’s very effective. And as with all TS workings, the spell works from the inside out. So change from within and is manifested externally as life falls in with the new perspective. It means the positive effects are cumulative and built on a solid foundation. This is true of all the TS rituals I provide. They are extremely comprehensive.

I have Aspergers (a type of high functioning autism) means I’m more comfortable using ASMR “whispered conversation”. The mutual increased focus this initiates allows a more intimate communication & natural connection. My intention is to use whispered conversation to provide a unique & informal style that will be relaxing to watch, pleasant to hear & with subjects accessible to viewers.
I plan to upload various vids; some may be general or personal updates; others may be more informative, based around my spiritual & magickal work; general chats & reviews. Also, ‘streams of consciousness’…with no fixed ‘subject’.
I keep a blog and do find editing it a problem; I have too many thoughts and my edits tend to get longer not shorter! I am hoping making vids will allow me to address some of the blog ideas I have that are responses questions from people.
My nifty little camera will allow me to make a 15 minute video (with good sound!) and upload it to YouTube from my bedroom…very handy and should help with covering more topics or answering more specific questions…as well as regular chit chat vids. I really want to keep the content variable, but with a theme that I’m comfortable working in!
Please be aware, I have photosensitive epilepsy and when it gets late and I’m winding down, sometimes this affects me so I tend to wear sunglasses indoors. I’m aware this looks kind of weird! But it means I don’t need meds to control seizures so, I don’t mind wearing sunglasses!
NOTE: Although Whispering is used in ASMR, I use this technique because it is more comfortable for my autism & is a natural part of my night when I’m winding down for bed!

Tonight I don’t see my boyfriend as busy night for spells (Saturnian planetary influence) for Maya Magickal Spells & Personalised Initiation Programmes – also he has an early start Sunday morning.
So Saturday is my admin night for Mayastar Academy Online Natural Healing & Spiritual Development Courses but I try to make it a bit of girlie night in – listening to audiobooks about spirituality or mythology…and audio novels – I like thrillers…and gothic styles. Fantasy novels. Crime novels. I think audiobooks have replaced the TV for me.
As you can see, henna mix with lashings of coconutoil applied. Eyelashes & eyebrows tinted to avoid that enkempt washed out look.
Have to make a bit of effort once you’re over 40 – esp if you’re a hippie & red hair & Lush tinted lipbalm is your only concession to daily “maintenance”! (I’m very sparing when it comes to make up and hairstyling. But like to consider it more a boho chic choice! Important to be proactive about your inactivity…otherwise it is just laziness!)
I maintain my health by my lifestyle choices – daily exercise, daily meditation, stretching etc. Also, I don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t sunbathe, don’t stress, don’t eat sugar habitually. But DO use Creme de la Mer & Lush skincare.
Other natural beauty tips: seven hours sleep a day (I’m nocturnal), drink Apple Cider Vinegar (tastier than it sounds) – and green drink powder to keep a healthy alkaline diet even if you’re busy or your appetite’s low. Keep good habits and it shows in your health on all levels.
My appetite seems non existent this week but that usually happens if I’m getting more exercise or the weather’s changing – Apple Cider Vinegar is my genius back up to normalise my appetite! But so I keep healthy, I always make sure I keep a supply of green drink in…packed with powdered green veggies and grasses and high nutrition.
It’s been a bad month for bad food choices. If like me, you are liable to lose your appetite, I think understanding your body needs a rest from digestion sometimes is important. Otherwise you risk “emergency fast food eating” because you mostly don’t feel hungry and when you do, you want to eat before your appetite wears off. I honestly don’t know how many times me and my Teddy Boy have eaten pizza this month…definitely too many.
Non vegan foods send my digestion whacky. Cheese is just “yellow lard” to me – I don’t seem to enjoy it much…so pizza is silly fast food. I can get spicy rice noodles from my local takeaway if I really fancy being thirsty from the salt overdose. But he currently favours pizza so we’ve both eaten junk :s
Anyway, for lazy but healthy eaters, I recommend keeping a good supply of noodles, shirataki and brown rice with tons of v fast food vegan sauces always in the house. Pistachio nuts too. Healthy snacks. But with good sauces and noodles/rice, I can make a giant and healthy meal far quicker than Dominoes can deliver an unhealthy salty, fatty one!
So, I’m blaming lack of appetite on my naughty boyfriend being a bad influence!
Spider has been a useful test subject for my green drink – he prefers to healthy. Also, he’s used to me smelling of henna…which smells like you’ve lying in the grass on a drizzly day. I like the smell but it’s quite strong and some people try to disguise it with essential oils in their henna mix. Because he likes the smell of my henna, I thought maybe he would enjoy the green drink – lots of people complain it’s like drinking muddy water. Or that it doesn’t really taste of anything but looks like muddy water! Some people actually blanch at the idea of adding vinegar to it (Apple Cider Vinegar doesn’t taste like vinegar). So despite the appearance of it, he tried it, was amazed, and converted. He’s buying green drink powder for himself after I made him up half a dozen bottles with tinctures and drops to fight his cold.
A week or so ago he had a really stinking cold – the kind with a cough that stops you sleeping. So he definitely needed it.
I increased my apple cider vinegar intake because of its alkaline benefits, to prevent me catching it. I also added propolis drops, chlorophyll (no to be confused with chloroform!), echinacea drops & colloidal silver drops. How would that help? How would an alkaline drink stop me getting a cold?
Well, if you stay alkaline, you don’t get colds. The virus can’t live in an alkaline environment. The same goes for many bugs. You also can avoid a lot of serious health problems with an alkaline diet: Higher alkalinity reduces inflammation generally in the body. Which means it can help you to avoid some major diseases that seem to be either caused or exacerbated by our very acidic western diet.
It’s not only diet that creates an excessively acidic system either. Stress and exercise can do that too. I work out a lot (rebounding, ballet, hiphop & latin) – daily and intensively sometimes (you’d be surprised how intensive ballet is!), so to neutralise acid formation, its important for me to keep alkaline as much as poss if I don’t wanna compromise my immune system function. It’s also great for your complexion. Good health definitely shows in the body…as does bad health.
A vegan diet is usually (as long as it’s essentially a plant based vegan diet, not a vodka and oreos vegan diet!) naturally alkalising. And that carries massive health benefits.
It does mean avoiding fat from animal sources especially though. Animal protein literally decomposes in your digestive system – decomposition isn’t the same as digestion. It means toxic yuckiness can build up. And that applies to white meat meat as well as red. The toxins produced by the decomposition of meat in your body increases the risk of gastrointestinal cancers. On top of the other problems associated with meat – the hormones in it, the acidity of it etc.
Also, avoiding sugar and refined carbs; avoiding alcohol and stimulants like tea or coffee – these are simple ways to make your diet more alkaline. I naturally do these things most of the time, so it’s not a radical diet change for me but for some people it would be and Green Drink may be a very simple way of alkalising or starting to make positive changes.
When the blood is overly acidic we tend to carry fat to store acidic “toxins” in as emergency precaution by the body. But our body has a limited capacity to do this. In addition, the body coats the arteries with plaque deposits to protect them from acidic blood. This is what atherosclerosis is and on a Western diet, it is the root of most death and disability…we consider it an “age related” condition. But it’s actually predominantly a lifestyle consequence that’s totally avoidable! We begin to show damage in our arteries in early childhood.
In the West we also have problems with brittle bones as we age and that’s another consequence of diet…the body leeches minerals from the bones to try to neutralise the acidic state. So we shrink. We get joint pain. Even the bones in our faces shrink by this process, making us age prematurely from the inside out.
I really recommend the work of NutritionFacts.Org to anyone who would like to know more and see the evidence – the clinical trials and the suppression of the problems with certain food groups that have been documented for decades
Naturally, I didn’t catch his cold! But the benefits of keeping your diet and lifestyle healthy could be the key to preserving your looks…as well as your health span and life span ♡
If you think changing your diet is a radical option, think about how radical heart bypass surgery would be…when it comes to weighing up the pros and cons, I don’t personally think any food tastes so good I would risk a stroke or congestive heart failure in order to keep eating it.

Usui Reiki is one of the most popular courses I teach through Mayastar Academy Online Natural Healing & Spiritual Development Courses. It was the first course I began teaching 12 years ago when Mayastar was established and because whenever energy healing is mentioned with regard to its effectiveness (assisting cancer patients or for pain relief), it remains the most “well known” of the systems I teach. It’s probably the one that’s most tested and some medical health practices will refer people for Reiki Healing despite it being considered a bit “new age”. Similar prejudices come up as a reaction against natural healing practices – Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Reflexology for example.
The big difference with Reiki is that it’s accessible and safe for anyone to learn and use. I wouldn’t recommend anyone start trying acupuncture without significant training and experience. But energy healing systems like Reiki provide a structured and specific practice that is not invasive and can be easily taught.
The founder of Usui Reiki included the structured forms of hand position sequences, meditation techniques, symbols and methods for sending healing distantly as well as on the breath. It is a versatile system but it’s structure makes it uniquely useful for beginners because it helps to build confidence in energy work as you go. So your intuition develops without your conscious mind being unoccupied and restrictive.
People learn energy healing for all kinds of reasons. Some wish to learn to provide healing to others; perhaps to pets or family members. Some are looking for ways to develop their spiritual senses and find Reiki an excellent way to do this.
But increasingly, I teach students that are looking at alternative or complimentary therapies to improve their health. Balance their energy to resolve health problems or assist with conventional treatments they are already using.
One of the most significant implications for ill health is stress. We are six times more likely to develop schizophrenia if we live in a city than if we don’t. Modern life has its benefits but it comes with increases in stress experienced by doing things that have never been natural for people to do.
Another example is the blue light from backlit screens on our computers, games, phones and televisions can interrupt our production of melatonin. The hormone that makes us feel sleepy and allows us to sleep. Yet, many have televisions and computers in their bedrooms and use them to “wind down”. Over time we don’t really know how much additional stress to the system could accumulate through this change in sleep quality. But the fact is if we don’t properly our bodies can’t repair properly.
If we have too little sleep on a regular basis there are implications for our health on many levels. Ultimately, if you get less than six hours of sleep in one go regularly, your life expency is reduced. Your risk of heart problems, cognitive problems and problems with immine immune function are increased.
These kinds of stress are often completely ignored. We know that a stressful job or relationship can make us ill. We know what stress feels like. We know that sometimes natural life events may cause us stress and when these happen we tend to try to take care of ourselves – death, changing career, moving home – and many other big changes we will all face at one time or another, will cause stress that we need effective ways to deal with.
Usui Reiki obviously isn’t the only answer. Meditation and breathing exercises are also very good. Changing eating habits to avoid stimulants or sugar can have big effect. Avoiding falling into the trap of relying on detrimental habits like drinking alcohol (which is considered by most people to be an “acceptable” way to deal with stress despite its negative effects on health), is important.
Change in life is stressful to some extent even in the most adaptable and well adjusted people. And change is constant. So the way we deal with experiences of stress needs to be something we make accessible to ourselves consciously and use regularly.
Daily exercise has been shown in clinical trials to be more effective in treating depression than many medications that are prescribed by medical professionals. That certainly doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take them! But it does mean we can make choices to help ourselves and that’s empowering.
Reiki is an excellent option for relaxation, self healing and boosting our immune function. It it useful in relieving stress and the symptoms of stress which can become chronic and debilitating.
My view is that a holistic approach is the best approach. Don’t rule out modern medicine. But do consider your diet and lifestyle. Look at the options you can take and weigh up the negative impact of some “acceptable” habits against the options that don’t come with a negative impact. What’s considered “normal” isn’t always what is natural or right.
It can be hard to break out of habits of thinking and behaviour we have been taught and which are reinforced by those around us. Sometimes being the odd one out means choosing what works for us as individuals despite our peers or negative views of individuality that are quite prevalent in some people’s lives.
If your friends think Reiki is kookie – the domain of hippies and vegans, don’t let it stop you trying it out. Lead by example. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Especially if trying something old isn’t working!
