Random updates…

Spent my evening sorting out stuff so my #dancestudio can convert to a (rudimentary) bedroom so when my brother visits he doesn’t have to clock watch. And sorting out the rest of the new #ledbulbs – for #energysaving & #moodlight effects that don’t mess w/ my #epilepsy.

It was a bit too late for paperwork by then…so I sent this pic to my #TeddyBoy to ask if he wanted a bath 🙂 It was my fave of the silly pix I sent as it not only includes my most spectacular #sparkly #swarovski #stilettos (my black velvet #gothic #princess #heels) but Lux the #Unicorn & #psychadelic lighting conspired to show my #delicate #ankles & my strong #ballet trained feet feet off perfectly. It’s all just soooo me.

So, me & spider had a bath…ate cold #pizza, watched #GhostHunters & spent a “night at the opera”, listening to #motown.

Perfect.

Tonight I will really have to #henna my roots, tint my eyebrows & eyelashes (I look so unkempt to myself!) & do my admin work for Mayastar Academy. Two #spells for #MayaMagickal – one reversal (as a preliminary working for a #prosperity working) and one #ArchangelMichael #ProtectionSpell.

Fifties Dress | Red Roses | Pizza | Valentines | Lush Haul | Bath Blogging

Dressed for a perfect Valentine’s Day (the dress was a couple of sizes too big…reviewers on Amazon said it “came up small” but I guess their bodies came up bigger than mine!). #Fifties dress wowed my Teddy Boy.  Black with red roses, red petticoat, elasticated belt (thank goodness as the dress did look too big!) & red shoes (stilettos) & a nifty hairstick updo.

Was a lovely night…ate pizza & watched Breakfast At Tiffanys. Then listened to motown and chatted under the fairy lights in bed. I had planned for us to watch the dvd on the living room but the dvd player is temperamental. The one in the bedroom is reliable & since my bed is a futon, a couple of big pillows make it into a comfortable “sofa”.

My honey (being to the sweetest), bought me the most enormous Lush Haul ever! He became a fan after I got him some dream cream to try on his dry skin. He often comes round early for dinner and if I’m still in the bath we chat in bathroom while I soak. (It’s an essential part of my day…I do my most frivolous blogging from the bath!) But he pays attention to what I say…an amazing trait in a bf! So he had a list of all my favourites…frozen bathbomb, Guardian of the Forest bathbomb, ro’s argan body conditioner, sympathy for the skin, butterball (like super moisturising bathbomb), rehab shampoo, americancream conditioner, rose jam bubblebath and yellow fun. He got a few extras too…blue fun (smells lovely), Vanillia perfume and minty face mask too.

I didn’t ask…but he must have spent a fortune. I sorted it all into a box with my current stash and the bedroom smells gorgeous!

Definitely feeling like the cat that godt the cream. The best Valentines Day I have had since I was a teenager!

Mood lighting egg set to mirror the colour of my #Lush #BathBomb! Having a long soak. Hair washed with #Rehab & #AmericanCream. 

#TeddyBoy coming round for a #vegan dinner of #couscous, grilled veggies & #salsa. One #spell to complete later & the Killing Moon #Karmic Reversal b4 bed (www.mayamagickal.net). And newsletter to send 4 www.mayastar.net too. So I will chillin’ till about 1am & then do my work. The #Tantric #Shamanic #Ritual were choreographed more than written. Most include #mantras & sometimes the #mantra part is adapted for a specific client’s goal. But the longer I work with them, the more the dance flows. Originally I had looped percussion/drumming cd I used but now the feel of the dance has become so much second nature that I feel it without any background sound. It’s really magickal. I was reflecting today that because I am a dancer and because of my epilepsy (meaning I don’t use the usual basic methods for #firemagic or #candlemagic), I have developed a way of working that uses my unique qualities to a more powerful effect than if I had followed the “painting by numbers” approach to #spellcrafting. It’s allowed me to be more eclectic in some ways but it’s also meant I couldn’t just learn to read by rote…so my feel for #magick (and #energyhealing) has been heightened by it. It’s a good example of how an apparent #disability may turn out to be an extra ability if you don’t get hung up on being different! I think my #autism (#aspergers) means I don’t get hung up by nature. It’s definitely a blessing when it comes to magick to be able to observe and unravel the mess of #karma that magick (used properly!) can tweak and resolve. I seem to get more and more referrals from happy customers for magickal work over time which is always good as far as feedback goes!

Feeling v flattered today. My sis let my nephews stay up to watch #thevoice the other day & in all seriousness, on seeing #PalomaFaith, Scott asked my sister if it was me. It’s funny cos walking around to my dad’s one day, my neighbour saw me with my hair up like in this pic and said “OMG! I thought it was Paloma Faith”…my sister thinks there are similarities but that actually it was her speaking voice that made them think it was me.
